- Designed, developed and implemented
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Administration Division
IS standards as their Manager of Administrative Information Systems (MAIS)
; co-developed two IS user conferences; acted as inter-Division IS liaison;
initiated IS efforts for various committees within the Division; participated
in vendor selection and system implementation for two Unix/Oracle systems:
- Finance/Administration Information System (FAIMS) and the
- Physical Facilities Management Information System (FAMIS)

1993 - 1994
- Established SynerNiche, Inc. , with three partners, to market
and provide the following skills to individual consultants and crafts-people:
writing business plans, by-laws, marketing plans, financial plans, and designing
corporate image and promotional material.

1989 - 1994
- Established Noble Savage Philosophers (NSP) , a computer mediated
discussion group reaching 250+ philosophically inclined individuals on several
continents; presented a paper related to NSP at the 6th Annual
Computers and Philosophy Conference (CAP) .

- Traveled to a friend's place in New Orleans for
Mardi Gras '94; visited friends in
Greece, fall '94. Traveled by train from
NYC to Seattle, spring
'92; flew to San Francisco
, summer '92; Cancun, Mexico fall
'92; took a one week mid-west road trip (including
Albuquerque and the Grand
Canyon ), spring '93.

- Took 24-form T'ai Chi
, 48-form T'ai Chi, and
Qigong classes; participated
in a class demonstration at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
