Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds Applications for funding through Troy's Community Development Block Grant program, the Emergency Shelter Grant program, the HOME Investment Partnership Act funding program, and the Housing for Persons with Aids program will be available at the offices of the Department of Planning and Community Development on the third floor of Troy City Hall beginning at 8:30 am on Friday, February 21, 1997. Applications must be picked up in person. Completed applications will be due no later than 4:00pm on Monday, March 24, 1997. Applications filed by the deadline date will be reviewed for their responsiveness to community needs as identified in the Consolidated Plan as well as in the application. Priority in funding will be given to applications submitted by consortia of agencies or other groups. Successful applicants will receive funding as part of the One-year Action Plan component of the City of Troy's Consolidated Plan for the 1997-98 program year beginning on July 1, 1997. Copies of the current Consolidated Plan are available for review weekdays between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm at the offices of the Department of Planning and Community Development on the third floor of Troy City Hall.
