Local Law:

Local Law enacting a new Article X of Chapter 19 of the Troy Code entitled nuisance abatement law. (Pascarell)

Ordinances:

1 Ordinance amending the special revenue fund for the purpose of receiving federal community oriented policing services (COPS) funds and appropriating such funds for the purpose of hiring additional community police officers. (Pascarell)

2 Ordinance authorizing and approving the sale of certain real property in the City of Troy. (Doran)

3 Ordinance authorizing and approving the sale of certain real property in the City of Troy. (Doran)

4 Ordinance authorizing and directing the City of Troy commissioner of Public works or a designee thereof to execute easements granting use of city owned property along Canal Avenue as described in attached schedules "A" and "B" to the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. (McGrath)

5 Ordinance authorizing settlement of claim against the City of Troy - Bruce D. Finkle/ Preferred Mutual Insurance Company (Doran)

6 Ordinance approving settlement of certiorari proceedings instituted by various property owners located in and on the assessment roll of the City of Troy. (Walsh)

7 Ord amending the budget to account for the receipt and expenditure of a grant from the Empire State Development Corp to conduct a comprehensive parking implementation strategy study for theTroy central business district and auth. the mayor to submit an application on behalf of the City to the Corp for receipt of such grant and to award and execute such contracts as area necessary to implement such study. 8 Ord repealing subsection (o) of Section 28-13 of the Troy Code of Ordinances and adopting a new subsection (o) to provide for the establishment of a "park and shop zone" in the central business district. (McGrath)

9 Ordinance authorizing settlement of claim against the City of Troy - Michael Pastore. (Doran)

10 Ord to amend the general fund budget and the capital budget to appropriate additional state aid. (Walsh)

Resolutions:

1 Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with the NYS Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for the design of Federal Aid Street improvements for Congress Street between 11^th Street and Pawling Avenue. (Hart)

2 Resolution appointing James W. Cramer to the City of Troy Board of Assessment Review for a five year term commencing on October 1, 1997. (Walsh)

3 Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract for engineering services related to flood mitigation projects associated with the Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA). (McGrath)

4 Resolution to establish: a capital reserve fund for the cost of equipment for use by the city and rehabilitation of city owned buildings and facilities; a snow and ice removal and road repair reserve fund; an insurance reserve fund; a workerĘs compensation reserve fund; and an unemployment insurance reserve fund. (Walsh)
