The Sexual Assault Care Center for Rensselaer County Is seeking people interested in developing crisis intervention and counseling skills to work as hot line, office, and prevention education volunteers. We're offering a free, 36 hour comprehensive training course. The next cycle will begin March 2nd and will be held at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. The program is the only agency in the county to provide specialized services to sexual assault survivors, their family and friends. In addition to victim services, we provide outreach/prevention programs and professional trainings.
