Free Music At Noon Troy Savings Bank Music Hall - 273-0038 For Kids . . . Big And Small Paul Straussman Join singer/songwriter Paul Straussman and the Albany Academy for Girls' Chorus for sing-along holiday fun at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall's "Music at Noon" concert on Tuesday, December 8 at noon. A masterful guitarist, Paul Straussman has composed four award-winning recordings of uncomplicated songs which speak to the everyday concerns of children, such as losing a tooth, moving to a new town or fear of the dark. His latest tape, Blue Jay Blue Jay, recently received an Award of Excellence from the Film Advisory Board. The 45-member Albany Academy for Girls third and fourth grade chorus will Join Mr. Strausman for a program entitled just Like Your Family, a celebration of the holiday season. The concert will feature a mix of traditional and original songs and active audienceparticipation will be encouraged. The "Music at Noon" series is sponsored by the Troy Savings Bank and Hannaford Brothers Superstores, with additional support provided by the Outagamie Foundation and the New York State Council on the Arts. Tuck and Patti, Liz Story In Concert Take time out from the madness of the holiday season with a relaxing evening of musical magic featuring Tuck & Patti, Liz Story, and Sean Grissom at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Saturday, December 5 at 8 pm. Celebrating two decades together, creatively and passionately making music both on and off stage, Tuck & Patti have amassed critical acclaim, substantial record sales and a growing international following. Three-time Grammy nominee, Liz Story is a gifted pianist and composer whose unique style has been described as a cross section of jazz, classical and new age. Her latest offering, 17 Seconds to Anywhere, is her first recording of all original material in seven years. The collection of eleven short, elegant pieces displays a delicate grace, fluent harmony, and eloquent melodies that are trademark Liz Story. Opening the concert will be guitarist Sean Grissom.
