Unity House Sunday Supper and Silent Auction

On Sunday, June 6, Unity House will celebrate 27 years of service in Troy with its third annual

Sunday Supper. The casual family-style dinner event will be held at The Sage Dining Hall on the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute campus in Troy from 5pm to 8 p.m.

As part of Sunday Supper with Unity House, there will be a silent auction of an eclectic mix of items and activities. The following are a few highlights:

  • Tickets to taping of "The Rosie O'Donnel Show" in New York City
  • 2 Nights in Montreal for two, includes Amtrak tickets, lunch on the train both ways and a dinner certificate
  • "Tramp Art" by Troy's own internationally renown Hermitage des Artistes
  • The Record's box at Saratoga and a picnic lunch for six for "A Day at the Races"
  • A party for five at Ultrazone: The Ultimate Laser Adventure
  • Fixings to have Downeast Clambake in your own backyard
  • Weekend getaway to Vermont
  • Lunch with Senator Joseph L. Bruno
  • A "Month of Sundaes" from Stewart's Shops
  • Jewelry, pottery, paintings and more...

Unity House chose

Sunday Supper as the theme for this gathering because Sunday supper is traditionally a meal that allows friends and family to gather together to visit and catch up on their lives and on their world.

This event which will benefit an endowment fund established in Unity House's 25th year, will help the organization continue its work of seeing the most needy in our community," said Christopher Burke, executive director of Unity House. " It will also help Unitv House to continue pioneering programs to help their consumers make positive, permanent life changes,"

Tickets for Sunday Supper are $50, donor; $75,patron and $100, benefactor. For more information or reservation, call Bonnie Sklar at Unity House, 274-2607.

Unity House, founded in 1971, is a not-for-profit human services agency in Troy dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for: people living in poverty, adults with mental illness, people living with HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence and children with developmental delays. Their programs provide direct services to people in Rensselaer County and surrounding communities.
