Chamber of Commerce Contributes $2K to HVCC Scholarships The Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce has contributed $2,000 for the benefit of Hudson Valley Community College Foundation's scholarship programs, in the name of New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, the keynote speaker of the 99th Annual Chamber Dinner. After helping to make the 99th Annual Chamber Dinner the largest and most successful in Chamber history, Mayor Giuliani graciously declined to accept an honorarium. In view of this, the Chamber contributed $2,000 to the HVCC Kenneth LaCorte Scholarship and the Joseph L. Bruno Scholarship, to be allocated equally. The Chamber Dinner was attended by over 630 business and community members March 30th. The evening included 25 Chamber member businesses and organizations who highlighted their products and services and offered special promotions and prizes.
