RESOLUTION #3:

On Tuesday June 15th, 1999 the City Council unanimously approved a plan to create a parking authority to oversee the city's parking garages and ramps, a resolution originally tabled during the June 3rd meeting. Mayor Pattison may use the authority to seek state aid for additional parking facilities in Troy. The Resolution was tabled at the June 3rd meeting in order to give the Council Members more time to understand the legislation and to examine other communities parking authorities. While there are still some questions to be answered, Mayor Pattison promised that a detailed plan would be brought before the council. At that time the Council Members would have an opportunity to approve it or not.
