Collar City Pops - Summer 1999
The Collar City Pops is a not-for-profit organization run by a volunteer
board of Troy's community members. The mission of the organization is
to use music to promote awareness of and contribute to the revitalization
and dynamic character in downtown Troy. The Collar City Pops runs a
free summer concert series at Riverfront park in Troy. The Concert series
is meant to increase community pride and spirit and enables community
members to discover, develop and share their cultural interests and
talents. Concerts are held Sundays at 7pm and Tuesdays at Noon.

- Collar City Pops Concert Band - 30 musicians playing everything from show tunes to patriotic music.

- Zucchini Brothers - Bring the kids, this zany trio is fun for the whole family.

- Ben Murray and Siobhán Quinn - Unique blending of contemporary folk, blues R&B and original music.

- Arabesque Chamber Players - Classical music to while away your lunchtime

- Hair of the Dog - Don't let the name fool you; this group's Celtic-based folks and rock appeal to young and old alike.
