Unity Sunshine Day Care & Preschool 271-6777 Unity Sunshine, 435 Fourth Street, Troy, presently has openings for it's day care and preschool programs. Day care is open Monday thru Friday year-round, from 7:00am to 5:30 pm. (flexible scheduling possible) and serves children ages 18 months to 5 years. Slots for the morning session are now available. Preschool follows a regular school calendar schedule and begins in September. It is open Monday thru Friday, from 8:50 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. and serves children ages 3-5 years. Unity Sunshine features play-based learning, spacious classrooms, a modern outdoor playground, an on-site nurse and nutritional meals and snacks. A sliding tuition scale is also available. Unity Sunshine is a program of Unity House, a not-for-profit human services agency founded in 1971 that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people living in poverty, adults with mental illness, people living with HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence and children with developmental delays. Their programs provide direct services to people in Rensselaer County and surrounding communities. In cooperation with Troy United Ink Corp., a not-for-profit corporation
