Sage Colleges New Congress Street Bookstore

Construction has begun and soon will be completed for a new campus/retail bookstore at Congress and 2nd Streets. In partnership with Brugger's Bagels and Follett College Stores Corp, Sage's bookstore and eatery will serve the community and student populations.

The project will include new construction as well as the renovation of the building at 51 Congress Street, resulting in 7,000 square feet of retail space. The new bookstore, which will replace Russell Sage College's on-campus store, will connect with Bruegger's in a "books and bagels" environment. Both retail outlets will have extended business hours to include evenings and weekends.

"This will add another dimension to downtown Troy revitalization program," said Jeanne Neff, Sage President. "This project, along with the restoration of Sage's historic buildings including outdoor improvements, are all part of Sage's long-term investment in Troy.

The facility is designed by Lepera & Ward, P.C., in conjunction with Follett and Bruegger's representatives.
