"The Troy Fall Fest is the result of cultural and educational groups
throughout the city meeting to create a new event in Troy," said P.
Thomas Carroll, executive director of the Hudson-Mohawk Industrial
Gateway and chair of the group. "We feel that Troy has a lot to offer
residents of and visitors to the Capital Region. By packaging cooperative
events such as the Troy Fall Fest, we hope to maximize attendance at these
events and raise awareness of the cultural riches Troy has to offer."
"Sage is delighted to participate in this first Troy Fall Festival and
celebration of the inauguration of RPI President Shirley Ann Jackson,"
said Dr. Jeanne Neff, president The Sage Colleges. "The event is a
perfect example of the impact of collaboration in achieving a city's
economic development goals. We look forward to this festival
and many more."
