The RECORD's Newspapers in Education program At The RECORD, we have been working with area schools and dedicated teachers to provide our newspaper to students. The RECORD's Newspapers in Education program (NIE) allows students to see the world around them by using our newspaper as a teaching tool. With NIE, teachers use newspapers to teach in a variety of subject areas and levels. However, funding is our challenge. Teachers have requested to use The RECORD in their classrooms this Fall but do not have the funding. You are invited to help by sponsoring one or more classrooms. The cost to sponsor a classroom for the school year is only $189.00. This will provide 30 papers to a class each week. You can choose the school or we can match you up with a school in need.
