Michael Barrett, Local historian, lecturer, and tour leader
Join Michael Barrett for this inaugural slide talk based on his popular tour of Historic Lansingburgh, which begins with the settlement of Lansingburgh in the 1750's and the founding of "New City" in 1771. Barrett will discuss several pre-Revolutionary buildings still extant, shipping and ship building, brush making and oil cloth, and some old homes including those of Herman Melville and Chester Arthur.

Topics include: what's in a credit report, how creditors access information, credit report accuracy, how to obtain a copy of your credit report, myths and realities about credit report use.
